Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental
Always glittering in gold
This magnificent hotel is a palace of Arabian culture and ever-ready service.
Covered in 22-karat gold leaf and thousands of crystal chandeliers, the palatial Emirates Palace is all of Abu Dhabi’s brilliance spread at your feet. Swathes of white sands are a big draw as are the palm-lined pools, gold-flaked cappuccinos and 24-karat gold facials. Among the restaurants is award-winning Hakkasan and Michelin-star Talea by Antonio Guida.
Why we love Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental
-
The little luxuries - doormen in tailcoats and 24-hour butler service.
-
The quiet romance of dining in a lantern-lit cabana by the Arabian Sea at BBQ Al Qasr.
-
Afternoon tea at the Palace – frivolous, photogenic and delicious.
-
Children feel special with kid-sized robes and slippers, an outdoor play zone and lazy river.
Rooms
The 394 rooms are simple yet elegant. Coral Rooms have all the superior facilities you would expect from a luxury hotel, with pretty views over the gardens and out across the Abu Dhabi skyline. Pearl Rooms have partial Gulf views while Diamond Rooms provide uninterrupted views over the Arabian Gulf. The Khaleej Suites are truly indulgent with extensive living space.
Facilities
There’s a real passion for cuisine here with two restaurants boasting Michelin-starred restaurants. Serving everything from al fresco barbecue and contemporary Chinese to Lebanese fare and Indian fine dining, take your pick from a wide array of restaurants.
Vendôme
For smart-casual elegance, sample international buffet dining at the all-day diner.
Hakkasan
Awarded a Michelin star, this glamorous restaurant is one of the hotel's finest, serving contemporary Chinese.
Cascades
Located by the West Beach Club this Greek-inspired restaurant is a popular spot for families.
Alma
Offering poolside dining, Alma serves Mexican fare.
Martabaan by Chef Hemant Oberoi
The destination for fine dining and Indian flavours with a twist.
Sand&Coal
If you enjoy dining beneath the stars, head to the BBQ Al Qasr for a variety of chargrilled meats and seafood.
Lebanese Terrace
Set amongst the palace gardens, Lebanese Chef Gilber Sak has created a menu of seafood platters, mixed grills and mezze.
Talea by Antonio Guida
The Michelin-starred restaurant offering family-style Italian dishes.
Episodes
The latest addition to Emirates Palace with four stations offering tea, a deli, cake shop and ice cream.
Café Fountain
Tea, coffee, light meals and pastries are served here. It's also a great spot for sunset watching.
Conscious Juice Bar
Organic, vegan and sustainable ingredients are used to create a range of healthy juices and smoothies.
Broadway
An exciting new venue where food, drinks and theatrics meet. The vibe is very much 1920s and you can head to the DMC Theatre to be amazed and enthralled by IMPOSSIBLE, a show by British magician and mentalist, Drummond Money-Coutts.
Head to Hakkasan on Friday evenings for their Night Brunch where unlimited drinks accompany a selection of dim sum, meat and seafood dishes.
What's included
Breakfast at Vendôme, unless otherwise advised.
