Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando
Tropical paradise
A lush oasis in the heart of Universal Orlando, this resort will soothe visitors with its beautiful landscaping, sparkling lagoon-style pool, and sandy beach.
Set around a meandering lagoon dotted with towering palm trees, this idyllic resort is like a Caribbean dream tucked away from the excitement of the nearby theme parks. Tumbling waterfalls add to the tropical atmosphere at the enormous pool, which is also kitted out with a waterslide. Cabanas are available to rent, and kids have a water play area and a sandy beach for building epic castles. Facilities
Although you’ve got plenty of restaurants in the parks and Universal CityWalk to explore, it’s good to know you’ve got some solid options back at the hotel. New Dutch Trading Co is a grab-and-go that’s particularly handy in the mornings before hitting the parks, and there’s a great pool bar for days spent enjoying the facilities at the resort. For something a little different, try the five-course rum dinner at Strong Water Tavern.

Guests can use the Mandara Spa over at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. For a workout on holiday, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort has Kalina Heath + Fitness, and there are saunas in the changing rooms. Ask concierge for maps of jogging route maps around the tropical landscaping.
On arrival, check out the activity schedule that may features ping pong competitions, hula hoop contents, and water balloon tosses. If you need some air-conditioned fun, there’s the Calypso Game Room with retro and current arcade and video games.
The enormous pool has a sand beach that’s especially perfect for tiny tots. There’s a water slide, huge hot tub, children’s play area and fire pit area too.
Brilliant for families with kid-friendly menus and well-designed suites for children. But it’s the vast swimming pool that they’ll love with pop-up jets, a beach area, and a waterslide.
