At first glance, this could be a chic 70s retreat. The geometric patterns, macrame accents, and tiki parasols all lend it an air of retro cool.
This adults-only hotel is a sociable spot. The DJ’s set list takes you from lazy days around the pool to sunset sips on the beach then al fresco dinners on the terrace. If you decide to make a night of it, you can nip to Marmaris by water taxi, safe in the knowledge that a comfy bed awaits you, whatever hour you return. In the morning, join a group yoga or meditation class or pep up with a session in the traditional Turkish hammam.
Why we love Cook's Club Adakoy
-
There’s always plenty going on, from guided SUP tours to hidden coves to DJ classes where you can get your hands on the decks, plus mixology classes and weekly beach cinema.
-
The hotel’s Cantina restaurant will be a highlight of your stay, but the hotel will happily point out other places to try, from hole-in-the-wall cafes to the area’s best gelateria.
-
The private beaches and pool view for your attention. Either way, find a spot on a deep-cushioned lounger under a tiki parasol and enjoy the view over Marmaris Bay.
-
Yogis rejoice – there’s daily practice here, from sunrise yoga to SUP yoga* and Face, Yin, Hatha, and Ashtanga Vinyasa.
Rooms
There are 111 rooms here, all with a boho-chic minimalist feel, plenty of authentic Turkish upholstery, and natural materials like cotton, rattan, and macrame fringing. Choosing a room with a sea view is highly recommended—although the balconies aren’t huge, it’s the view that matters, and you’ve got a couple of chairs to enjoy it from (and a table for your cocktail).
Facilities
While there’s just one restaurant here, there are always new dishes to try. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are cooked fresh to order in front of you at different stations, with rotating menus every day. Delicious salads, mezes, Asian favourites, pasta, grilled meats, and pizzas are all found here, so it’s best to see it as a handful of restaurants under one roof. Although forget the roof and bag a seat outside for a sea view.
Catina
Drawing on the freshest local produce, traditional dishes are prepared in front of your eyes at seven live cooking stations to take you on an authentic Turkish culinary journey.
Captain Cook Bar
This feel-good beach keeps the party going with an extensive collection of drinks made with fresh juices and signature cocktails alongside a selection of late-night snacks. Cocktails, premium international drinks, bottle beers and freshly squeezed juices are at extra charge for all guests at the Captain Cook and Lobby Bar.

But if you’d sooner be out exploring, join the group cave trek, or group walk to Adakoy ancient village ruins. If you’d rather hang out around the hotel, there’s daily yoga on a purpose-built platform right next to the pier, or you can up your game and try SUP yoga*, balancing on the water as your perfect your downward-facing dog.
Join a guided SUP tour around Bedir Island* or take a sunset boat trip*. Watersports* is also available within walking distance.
