A lively spot on the Aegean coast for all-out, all-in fun holidays together.
A narrow causeway connects this fun family retreat to the mainland giving it the vibe of an island getaway. We love that it is encircled by beaches and coves so you can try a few and find your favourite, and you’re never without a stunning view: the beauty of the Bodrum coast and Aegean Sea are there to see at every turn. At the ‘island’s’ heart, there’s the main six-storey building but as the land slopes down towards the sea, it gets low rise in style with the highly recommended villas that are seemingly cut into the landscape to maximise the views. The resort comes complete a couple of main pools, a thrilling water park, a spa and a cluster of around-the-world restaurants.
Why we love La Blanche Island Bodrum
-
The peninsula is encompassed by beaches, some that slope into the Aegean, others with steps down into the water, and a couple where you’ll find private cabanas or Bali beds (payable locally).
-
Six restaurants and a great selection of bars await you at La Blanche and are located across the peninsula.
-
Thanks to its stunning outlook and generous size the main freeform pool is a bit of a showstopper; there’s also an Aquapark, a great place to create family memories, and a kids’ pool with smaller slides for smaller guests.
-
The villas are well worth the upgrade; among a host of added extras, you’ll have a private check-in, more space, stunning sea views and either a shared swim-up pool or private section of pool.
Rooms
La Blanche Island’s accommodation is a game of two halves. The main building is home to the Standard, Superior and Family Rooms: comfy rooms with mid-toned wood furnishings and blue accents; we highly recommend choosing one with a sea view to make the most of those Aegean views. The villas, on the other hand, are situated on tiered levels as the peninsula down towards the sea and come with a host of added extras such as free use of a cabana, butler service and complimentary à la carte dining. 508 rooms, suites and villas.

Six restaurants make up the rollcall of dining options here. These begin with the main venue Pina where an extensive range of buffet dishes that span the globe. Drinks are available through the daytime and into the evening and early hours at a plethora of bars.

La Blanche Island’s spa is a haven of wellness featuring a Turkish bath, a steam room and sauna, an intriguingly named adventure shower (basically jets of water at various temperatures with a combo of lights and sounds) and of course, a wide menu of treatments and therapies, mainly inspired by Far Eastern practices.
Family focused facilities include an indoor and open-air children’s club where an entertaining yet skill building activities are run; there is also a playground here with small slides.
There’s a kids-friendly section and baby corner at the main restaurant and each of the à la carte restaurant has a children’s menu. We recommend choosing either a Family Room or one of the two-bedroom villas (the Royal Villa and Executive Villas) as they all have separate rooms for the kids and adults.
