Day 2
Sapa
Take a scenic drive into the mountains to Ban Khoang. A hidden-away village home to the Red Dao people, who harvest foods on mountainside terraces. After an hour, travel to Ta Giang Phinh valley, home of the H’mong people. After lunch, observe day-to-day life; tending the terraces or making traditional clothes. On your return to Sapa, stop off at Love Waterfall, a natural wonder, and Heaven’s Gate for far-reaching views of Mount Fansipan (weather dependent).

Day 3
Sapa to Hanoi
Travel out of Sapa and set off on a walk to Sin Suoi Ho, a rural community set in rolling terraced hills. Visit a handful of the village homes and gain an understanding of day-to-day life before heading onwards along the hillside to Ma Tra. This charming hamlet is framed by terraced hillsides and the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range, home to skilled artists who create traditional crafts. From there, head back to Hanoi.
